Refining Experts:
M & K Recovery Group offers vendors 30-years experience
in precious metals reclamation, and a state-of-the-art
processing facility, equipped with a Massachusetts B4 Recycling
Permit. We utilize a chemical refining method of recovering
gold, silver, and platinum group metals from encapsulated
and clad materials. A cyanide strip method is employed
for gold-plated scrap products. These processes result
in zero discharge and emissions-free, “clean” reclamation.
Recovery Materials:
- Gold-plated scrap, including IC’s, fingers, connectors,
plugs and pins
- Gold and platinum group metals from bell jar and deposition
scrapings/flake
- Sandblast media
- Chemical cleaning and restoration of sputtering shields
and tooling
- Recovery and Treatment from spent or contaminated gold
and platinum solutions
- Thick and thin film residue, including conductive pastes,
rags and wipes, and hybrid circuit scrap
- PT thermal couples and refractory waste
Assay Services:
M & K offers sample analysis to determine values of
homogenous categories of material. Assay is achieved via
atomic absorption spectrometry or fire assay. The analysis
allows us to report values to our customers—and if
approved, an outright purchase schedule of the material
will be provided.
Jewelry Reclaim:
M & K Recovery Group is also a precious metal reclamation
specialist interested in providing our unique process to
the jewelry manufacturing and repair services. We are convinced
that our acid reduction method of recovering precious metals
from jewelry residue is a more efficient way of refining
than the traditional burning and melting technique. Advantages
include the recovery and return of precious stones to the
customer as well as improved precious metal recovery from
sweeps and polishings due to the elimination of vapor loss.
Outright purchase plans are available for homogeneous categories
of karat gold and solid platinum group metal residue. |
